Minor Update

Few things...

1. Put up a preorder for the Worn Out demo 7", tests are en route and jackets are all printed, so that will be out very soon.

Consent - Conception CS

I have taken the liberty of releasing a pro dubbed run of last years Consent - Conception tape.  Consent is/was a noise/powerviolence sonic assault that emerged from the ashes of Socially Retarded and also was comprised of current/former members of Bongripper and Weekend Nachos even (if you want to get really specific and nerdy with this family tree bullshit).  They only dubbed a few of these "demos" on their own and played a small handful of shows.  As most of you know, they were supposed to be on the opposing side of Sea of Shit's split with Water Torture.  They had songs written and everything, but then just kind of fell apart due to schedules conflicting and such.  Consent never really actually broke up, they more so kind of fizzled out into an indefinite hiatus.  There is talk of still recording those split songs they had written, but for now "Conception" is their only release, and with that being said there will now be 100 more copies of it available in a tangible format.

VILE INTENT Skin in the Game EP

I rarely make posts about distro items, but I feel as though I should bring this new tape to everyone's attention.  Collection of new songs from the almighty VILE INTENT.  They have refined their sound even more so on this release, a perfect followup to Regression to the Mean.  Vinyl version will be available soon, a split release between Diseased Audio and Choking Hazard Records.  Vile Intent "Regression to the Mean" repress is almost sold out, down to my last 15 copies.  There will not be another repress so once those are gone they are gone.

In other news, Worn Out test presses had to be rejected, so that will be a bit longer before that sees the light of day.  Probably another 2-3 weeks, at least.  No other releases lined up as of right now but keep checking distro, I've been adding stuff on a very frequent basis.

Change of Plans

It looks as though the Sea of Shit split with Consent will be no more (at least for now), the SoS tracks meant for this split will now be put towards a split 7" with Water Torture (as if no one saw that coming anyway...).  Consent has taken a back seat to all members' other bands as well their busy schedules overall.  Sometimes these things happen, but that's OK.  Down the road I will still be releasing something by Consent, perhaps their own 7" EP or whatever develops, but for right now this is what is happening with this release.  On the upside of things, Water Torture has their side of the split finished so this record will be sent to the plant in the next week or so in hopes of having Nov. 23rd be a release show for both bands in Chicago.

Also, DAR007 will simply be a repress of the 2011 Sea of Shit EP on Prgnt Records.  White vinyl, limited to 300.  Keep your eyes peeled.

As always, distro is constantly being updated so keep checking back for fun and wacky surprises.

As expected...

Drug Problem tests rejected, the everlasting plight of pressing vinyl...on a brighter note i'm going to be putting out a split 7" between SEA OF SHIT and new Chicago pv band CONSENT (comprised of ex members of this band and that band) to further the efforts of Chicago Power Violence.  Also, Vile Intent 7" repress of 300 soon, hopefully in time for their upcoming shows with Column of Heaven.

Also, will soon be helping put out a Socially Retarded discography cassette which will include the last recording that nobody ever really heard since the band fizzled.  This tape is not technically a release on Diseased Audio (being put out on Grand March) but in spirit you could say it is.  These will be pro-dubbed and limited to 100, probably a while before they emerge due to the grueling turnaround time of the tape duplication plant.
