Been listening to this regularly for a few weeks now and i must say it's been my favorite release that's come out this year. The tape is sold out but Brant from VI is possibly repressing it so if he does i'll be getting a few to distro in here in the U.S.

Socially Retarded R.I.P. + final recorded output
Socially Retarded has finally disbanded after a 3 year span of overly violent shows, gratuitous substance abuse, and a constant revolving door of members. Their last show could definitely be considered "one for the books" so if you missed it, well...you missed out. Anyway, for their last show they whipped up a few home made discography cassettes. The tape compiles all of their tracks recorded with the final line up (everything with Mitch on vocals) including a few new songs recorded in the last few weeks of their existence. Not sure how many of these tapes were made, or if there will ever be any more, but as far as i know it's the only tangible source for hearing these last songs. With that being said, I went ahead and acquired the digital file of the final mix of the songs and have been given the green light to hand it out, so here i am doing so. Farewell to one of my favorite Chicago bands...

Other news...
The new Sea of Shit EP has been posted up on our bandcamp page, it is slated to be co-released as a 7" on PRGNT Records and Idoneum Bello Records this summer. I will definitely be distro-ing that (for obvious reasons) and there will be a short tour in support of said 7" this August.
Socially Retarded is calling quits. They will be recording one last tape and playing two more shows before disbanding, both in Chicago. One is on July 20th at the Dunk Tank (2323 N Albany) with Backslider and D.O.C, and the other on August 15th at Waterworks (615 S Clark) with Vile Intent, Sea of Shit, Overpower, and Men as Witches.
CONSTRICTIONS is dead. We put out two tapes and played three shows in our year of existence. The last track we ever recorded can be found here. That will be coming out soon on a power electronics comp that i may or may not post about later. Omar is now doing electronics in Machismo, they should have a tape out soon enough.
